Lean construction fuses with a responsive fit in the PureCadence. For Guidance to Support runners, this shoe delivers more support through smart, streamlined features such as a wider Nav Band that’s locked in to the medial strike pod. A reinforced heel counter secures the foot and the internal PDRB helps prevent overpronation. The PureCadence gives runners who need more stability the chance to experience the feel of a natural foot strike with a lightweight, breathable shoe.
Just like our core line, we hold PureProject to the industry’s highest weartest and durability standards. Because of their lightweight construction and fewer materials, runners should generally expect shoes from the PureProject line to last approximately 250-300 miles.

I was lucky to be a part of the "real world testing" of the Pure Cadence. I ran three full marathons one in the pouring rain. These shoes are really one of a kind. Light, nimble , fast , with amazing cushion.
What a true treat to the running world.
Yours truly.

I really like training in these shoes. This is my third pair in the last 24 months. I have used these in sun, rain, snow, and sleet on paved surfaces and found them to provide great stability and traction. They are a little on the heavy side - but a great trade-off for me based on the 'Pros' I've listed. I will purchase another pair when these wear out.

Love these shoes! Thank goodness I can wear men's sizes without much difficulty, I get more options. Love the men's color schemes over the women's. Not all of us like pink and pastels. Bring on the neons!

Absolutely my favorite running shoes. I pronate some with one foot more than the other, but with these shoes, my problem is solved even without the use of orthotics. These are even comfortable to wear all day for traveling.

-plantar fasciitis for 15+ years
-result: bad knee and back from running
-original thought: PC too light, flimsy
-though after gym, everyday use: can I wear 'em to church?
-worn the Beast for 10 years of running, gym but they are now history (don't like toe in new Beast)
-truly was amazed at comfort, support, pain relief from PC
-has relieved knee, back pain in senior citizen gym rat, runner that has been around years and years
-amazing!
-what's more amazing is the PC2 ruined it--too tight in toe and can't wear--nothing lasts forever!

I really loved the look of this shoe. It felt great when I put it on. After about 15 minutes my feet started to hurt because they were so narrow. I was hoping this would get better after breaking them in. I ran four or five short runs in these and they did not get any better. I am returning these and getting another pair of Ravennas.

After about a 35lb pound weight loss, I've transition from the Brooks Beast to Addiction to Adrenalines(two pairs of GTS and one pair of ASR). I also have a pair of ST5 Racers Due to a painful heal spur I developed, I had to take some time off of running. After reading about barefoot style running, I thought I'd try the Brook Pure line. I made a running gait change and put these shoes on and now I can run again....after almost two months! It's great to be running again and Brooks has been my only running shoe company for 13 years and I have several pairs of running shoes. They are the only running shoe company I know will have what I need. I just ordered a pair of Pure Grit as well to use on my grass and caliche trail runs. I'm set!

This shoe is great for a wide variety of situations. I have used them for speed work/track sessions, runs under 1hr, weightlifting (olympic and power lifts) and have worn them to work. I perfer the pureflow for longer runs but this shoe has performed great with everything I have thrown at it. I was especially impressed that it proved to be both a light/minimalist shoe for speed work and provided a stable platform for weightlifting movements such as squats, deadlifts and power cleans. All around awesome shoe and a great deal on last years model!

The Cadence really does help someone run from the mid-sole. I really have liked the cushion and support while running.
The Nav Band isn't particularly a strong selling point for me; I wanted a light running shoe that provided.
The PureCadence 2 still does not have a wide forefoot, nor a lot of vertical volume. Regardless, the Cadence is a great shoe for someone looking for a lightweight running shoe.

Love these shoes for a step up in distance from the Pure Flows (still my favorite shoe.) They fit perfectly on my narrow foot which is rare. Have noticed some premature wear on the upper from where my other foot appears to be striking or rubbing the shoe as I run. Probably user error!
