With lean construction and a responsive fit, the PureCadence 2 rethinks how support technology is engineered. Features like the internal PDRB help prevent overpronation without added parts and the wide Nav Band holds your foot like an endless hug. Add fresh looks and some street cred, and this featherweight friend will run footloose and fancy-free with you.
Just like our core line, we hold PureProject to the industry’s highest weartest and durability standards. Because of their lightweight construction and fewer materials, runners should generally expect shoes from the PureProject line to last approximately 250-300 miles.

I've ran, sprinted, jogged, jumped, and engaged in HIIT training in all types and brands of shoes. Simply put, this shoe is incredible and far surpasses the competition for all training types.
I noticed an immediate difference on my first run - light, responsive, great arch support that almost hugs your midsole. This shoe's design forces you into your more natural and graceful running form, while offering just enough support for at least a 5'10", 185 pound man, with high arches.
Recently, I tested this shoe for a police physical and my sprinting time was far superior than I have ever accomplished in any prior physical. They felt great during the PT test and I felt great the next day as well.
Try this shoe out and you won't be disappointed.

I bought the shoes as cross trainers but had to return them. The problem for me was the shoe last forced my foot to the outside of shoe. For example my big toe and second toe pointed toward the brooks emblem on top of shoe. Keep up the good outside shoe designs and color though.

I have two Brooks shoes. These and the Ghost. If you by pass Brooks when buying shoes you have made a HUGE mistake. These are excellent. I use these shoes for faster and tempo runs and the Ghost for long distance days. Today I did 8.1 miles in these shoes and loved it! Shoes are light and provide good support. The laces come undone easy... ok that is the big slam for the shoes. Buy them if you are serious about pounding out some miles.

This shoes is amazing! I would recommend this shoe to anyone. I used to wear the Ghost 5 but then put this shoe on and completely fell in love.

Great shoe. I trained for and ran last year's Chicago marathon in the first line of the Pure Cadence. The shoe held up very well to runs on concrete, single track trail, and wide flat trails. The Pure Cadence 2 has a unique feature where one side of the tongue is stitched to the side of the mesh upper guaranteeing the tongue stays in place the entire run.

I bought these for the first time last year for the marathon. They work great, and I love the weight and comfort. Great shoes.

I am a 6 day/week runner that has been training for my next half marathon. My first pair of PureCadence2s replaced my Adrenalines. These shoes are perfect for someone who needs some support, but wants lightweight comfortable running shoes. My only knock is that they wear down quickly, but I will continue to buy these even if I have to purchase my running shoes more often.

Was a bit stiff when I first put them on. My big toe was a little pinched. But after my first run, they quickly formed to my feet. They are very comfortable. More arch support than my Addrenalines. Very squishy sole. Fun to run on. Highly recommend this shoe.
I am a marathon runner.

A great shoe for the road. Took it on a little trail run and felt a bit "clunky," Difficulty finding footing in rocky areas, generally not feeling it on the trails. It gives me just enough padding on the road but still feels light and responsive.

These shoes are really light weight yet do not sacrifice stability nor cushioning in the heal nor rear of the shoe. Great job to the team at Brooks for coming up with this shoe. I am in love with it.

A lightweight Overpronation Shoe. Phenomenal! I trained and raced in a pair. It was nice not having to wear a neutral shoe for racing!
