IF you haven't been an Adrenaline follower like me for, um, decades--be sure to order a half size up. I am normally a 9 but have always been a 9.5 in this shoe--especially for long distance.

For those worried (like I was) about trying a trail version of the Adrenaline, NO FEAR! This slipped on right out of the box with my orthodics as the Adrenaline has for decades now.

I run in the adrenaline, so when I decided to go off road it was only natural that I get the adrenaline trail shoe. Feels great, just like the regular shoe - except for the size. It's a half a size larger than the road shoe. Use the WHAT'S MY SIZE FEATURE - it works!

I use Brooks because they offer a good fit for my wide, low-arched foot. The ASR is a good all-around trail shoe with good traction, reasonably light weight, and responsive sole. It is not as stiff or protective on broken, technical terrain (think East Coast / Appalachian rocks) as some other trail shoes, but they protect and cushion my feet quite well for at least the first 50-60 miles of most races. They transition well from road to trail, as well.

These shoes were 100% comfortable right out of the box. I have worn Adrenalines for years, these are by far the best fit/feel for my feet. The soles give just a bit more traction- perfect for trails and a small amount of snow. They're "weatherproof" yet my feet don't seem to sweat in them. Not stiff at all, nice and flexible yet sturdy, good support against pronation. I will be ordering another couple pairs to keep in reserve- I love them THAT much!

P.S.- I receive tons of compliments when I wear them around town- they really are super cute and the color is perfect for wearing with jeans!

I run and walk about 15-20 miles per week. I got these shoes to help me continue being able to work out in the snow and ice this winter. While they are great at keeping my feet dry and have good traction, the cushioning seems non-existent and the shoe is very stiff.

Bought these shoes in August 2012. I've run many trails and a 30K..these shoes never disappoint. Any condition and terrain. After the 30K my legs wanted to give out, but my feet never hurt at all. I'll buy these shoes again.
