This is a nice balaclava. I don't have any major complaints other than it irritates my nose if I wear it up there and it is too close to my mouth if where it there, so I put it under my chin. It covers most of my face and keeps me well protected. It wicks moisture well, but if you sweat a lot like I do, then it may not be enough. It's warm on the bitter cold days that you want to run--like below 20F.

As another reviewer pointed out, the neck is not covered well, very disappointing. As well, the single piece design is great and versatile but unfortunately it makes the front coverage of the nose and mouth slide down off the face, inconvenient and annoying. This product is horribly designed. Please considered a different brand or wait till Brooks redesigns this product, which they should ASAP!

I main use balaclavas that have a split design (top and bottom are not connected near the eyes). This design made it uncomfortable to pull the face part below the jaw or the head part down. Using it for the the neck did not cover enough of my throat. Also the bottom did not seem long enough and wouldn't reach my shirts neck line all the way.
