I got my shoes this week and have done three trail runs so far. One day we had a rainy day, so I purposely ran through tall wet grass. I also hosed my shoes off when I finished, they were pretty muddy. My feet stayed dry!
The tread is great, I don't feel the rocks when I run now! This is my first trail type shoe from Brook and I'm happy so far. This is my fourth Adrenaline GTS shoe, this style works well for me since I pronate.
Enjoy.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I just got my shoes earlier this week. I couldn't wait. The shoes that I were replacing were brooks gylericn (sp) I was wearing them for over a year and needed another pair, even though my other ones were still good. After looking at the shoes on the website I picked these. I am glad I did. When I put them on they fit perfectly, I have great support. When the time comes I am definitely going to purchase this style again.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
Love this shoe and all my other Brooks Adrenalines and Brooks Adrenaline ASR trail shoes. Ordered this one for the more water resistant upper. Only negative is that this version of the Adrenaline feels a tiny bit more snug and stiff than others and I am sure it is because of that water resistant upper.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I love the feel of them. Usually my knees ache after my first couple weeks of training in the spring, but so far this year they are fine. I think the shoes had a lot to do with it.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I was looking for a waterproof running shoe and this is the only one I found that actually was waterproof. I live in Seattle WA and run everyday outside so water resistant is important. The only time my feet get wet is if they sweat. The shoes are really comfortable and give great support for running and hiking. I was so impressed with them that I bought a pair for my boyfriend. I use to be an Asics girl but am a new believer in Brooks!

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I really love the look and the feel. The soles do seem to be a bit wide, but I think that helps absorb the impact more which helps in making my runs go smooth and comfortable. These shoes actually make me want to run more because they make it easier to run. You should get them. I really believe they are the best shoes ever invented for running.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I used these shoes to train for a marathon during the winter months. I ran mostly trails that consisted of small gravel with some dirt/grass areas. The shoe has excellent traction in snow, frozen gravel/ground as well as wet ground. Being gortex the shoe kept the water and wind out more so than a typical running shoe, and I really appreciated that feature. The shoe did well on the wet and snow covered pavement as well.
The shoe fits my foot like a glove. I have a low arch, and I need some pronation control.
An excellent trail and all around bad weather shoe.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
My feet are happy and dry. But why won't Brooks sell these in my size in Canada? I had to make a special trip to the US to get them, because Brooks will not let Canadian retailers have access to any size above size 9. Shame on Brooks for being sizist ! Canadian women with larger feet would like to patronize Canadian retailers.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
These shoes served me well when I was training for my first half marathon in Maine. It was wet, snowy, and I never slipped. All that said, I slid all over the place when I took them hiking in Acadia National Park. It was a little wet that day, but I was definitely disappointed in the lack of traction that day. They are brilliantly waterproofed, though. Worth the investment, although I may try the Pure Grits next time, as the Pure line (generally) is more comfortable.
