I bought these shoes to replace my last season Adrenaline ASR's.... when I tried them on at the store I was pleased with how they felt and fit, so I bought them. The first run I did was about 3 miles, and afterward I noticed that above my heel felt rubbed and it was uncomfortable. I wore them a little later that week for another run in different socks, and also out on the town one night hoping they would feel better; unfortunately, same discomfort above the heel. I checked out the inside and noticed the stitching that connects the left side of the shoe to the right was exposed, which it is not in any of the other 5 pairs of Adrenalines I own. I was very sad about this discovery, and I have since returned the shoes... hopefully the ASR 8's or the regular Adrenalines are a better fit!

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
The Adrenaline GTX shoes are even better than I thought they'd be! I'm not a trail runner, but I use the shoes for hiking and sometimes walking my kids to school when it's too wet for sneakers and not wet enough for boots. No matter the conditions the GORE-TEX always keep my feet warm and dry. I run in the Adrenaline GTS - so I was super excited to see I could get the same great support and feel in a trail shoe!

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I have been a big Mizuno fan for years. Had toe surgery recently and wanted to try a more rugged shoe that will give me more overall foot support. I cannot believe how dry my feet are from running in snow, mud, rain puddles, pouring rain. Before, my feet would be wet in the first rain puddle I ran in. Now they are completely dry for the entire run. I love how they feel on the trails. I feel totally supported. I Love love these. I also love the black color. I feel tough wearing them.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
Totally great straight out the box ... used them first time for a half marathon within days of receiving in the mail ... no blisters, nothing ... absolutely fabulous ... wish I had bought 2 pairs of these instead of one and one of the Adrenaline ASR 8, which I do not like ... very stable feeling ... I have no I would definitely recommend to others!!! ...

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
Allowed for a great first trail 5K experience! It had rained the evening before the race and the wet autumn leaves blanketed the trail. I had sure footing and dry feet. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Comments about Adrenaline GTX:
I run ultra-marathons. I also have the non GTX for dry weather - and have won a few races wearing them. The GTX are comfortable and keep your feet dry on wet muddy trails, especially through wet grassy conditions. (if you are doing over the shoe stream crossings, stick with the non GTX). Very comfortable light shoe.
