Lucky 13 is our best Adrenaline GTS yet. We paid special attention to the underfoot flex by adding Omega Flex Grooves and continuing Omni Grooves in the forefoot, allowing the outsole to bend and shape naturally. Continuing with the tradition of a tailored fit, stretch eyelets lock into the medial side to capture the foot better and technologies like Flextra and anatomical Brooks DNA deliver customized stability and cushion.
We’re not the only Adrenaline junkies out there – Runner’s World named the GTS 13 Editor’s Choice in the Fall Shoe Guide in their December 2012 issue. They call the GTS 13 a “classic stability shoe”, and quoted one wear tester as saying, “it’s soft enough that you can feel the road surface below, but there’s enough padding that you don’t feel as though you're running on concrete blocks.”
No luck here, just purely good design.

This is an excellent running shoe - I've been using Brooks Adrenaline for years, and gone through countless pairs for many half marathons. The support, sizing, and room for orthotics are perfect. Best of all: the shoe is super light weight. I tend to order a half size up and a wide because I like a little more room in my running shoes (I usually wear an 8/8.5 normal width shoe, but I get a 9D wide in the Adrenaline, just a personal preference). The only con is that until this year (2013), the colors have been pretty boring, especially for the wide sizes - but that hasn't stopped me from purchasing. It's nice to finally see a little more fun in the colors!

I have worn Brooks Adrenaline for years. I started having toe/ball of foot pain in the 12's, but once broken in, not so much. I got the 13's, and was sorely disappointed. How many people have a narrow forefoot and wide heel? Brooks CSR said to try another Adrenaline 13 to see if I had the same problem. I did, same problem. I tried lacing them differently, and I started to have achilles pain. My shoe store tried me in the Ravenna, but it did not have enough stability. I have tried other brands, but they don't work, either. I hope Brooks corrects what they have done to the Adrenaline. Bring back the wider box and narrow heel.

I was WAY overdue for a new pair of running shoes. I have been running in a pair of Switch 3s, which I love, but are no longer available. I took to Brooks' Shoe Adviser application to steer me towards the best fit for my running specs. What it recommended was the Adrenaline 13. I have to say, I am very happy with my purchase. First, the teal color is much brighter and a bit darker than the photo appears, which made me like them even more. When I slipped them on my feet, they felt instantly comfortable and very lightweight compared to my old Switch 3s. I have a normal width foot, but I have bunions on both sides so I am used to shoes rubbing my feet in these areas during the break in period. I am happy to report no rubbing with the Adrenaline 13s!
If these shoes fit your running style, I would absolutely recommend you give them a try.

I run a lot and found this shoe during the 10th editions . It was my first favorite running shoe and I have had to many wrong shoes in the past. The 13th felt heavy and loose. I was stopping frequently to retie and tighten my shoes mid run.. It cause moderate heel pain after longer runs. I currently need a new shoe, but I really dont want to purchase another 13th.. The color options are super boring as well.

I have worn Brooks Adrenaline close to 10 years. I wore another brand before and I was having problems with my knees and back. I went to a running store and they recommended Brooks Adrenaline. I've been running in them since that day. I do have to wear orthotics in them. I run approximately 20-24 miles per week in my Brooks Adrenaline. I absolutely love them.

I have bad knees and back yet i still work out. These shoes are very comfortable and cushioned well enough for me to workout as well as work in them (standing and walking). Additionally, they are beautiful!

I loved the Adrenalines 9, 10 and 11s but hated the 12s. With the 12s I started having issues with my heel and peroneal tendons so I switched over to a different brand. After reading a lot of reviews for the 13s, I decided to give them a chance. Still disappointed. The toe box feels too narrow and while they are lightweight even with the cushioning, I felt my old injuries coming back after only 2 runs and 1 boot camp work out. I hate that they changed a good thing.

got these for christmas 2012 and I really don't like them. wanted to replace my gts 11 but they are not cutting it. find myself returning to the old beat up ones b/c the new ones seem to make my right knee hurt to the point where i can barely take a step. put back on the old ones and no pain immediately. I will be donating the 13's as they aren't worth the pain. please bring back the design of the 11's. please!!
