I am flat footed and have worked on my feet my whole life, I finally broke down and got orthotics and was wearing the Brooks Beast for years, but I ordered a pair of these because they came in Black, these are actually more comfortable and easier to wear then the Beast. My orthotics work great in these shoes and I'll continue to buy them. When I can stay on my feet all day and not hurt, thats enough for me. I would recommend this shoe to everyone, extremely please.

I got this for work use 4 hours standing 4hours sitting. didnt like the way it feels from first day, but as you wear it start moulding according to your foot and grips better to your arch.To my opinion this for somone who does work and does lift heavy/light weight frequently in wet and slippery conditions. it has good raod grip and thick under line protection.i hope it could be little light weight,less bulky and more breathable at top part.

As a heavy diabetic man I find these shoes to give me the most comfort and support of any other brand so far and I've tried a lot of brands . In walking , working around the house, or slow jogging I don't feel like I may fall over or trip and the weight feels so light that my feet are not tired at the end of the day !

On my fourth pair. Last pair had to buy a men's shoe because women's didn't come wide enough since my feet have flattened out and widened. Excellent for balance since I have trouble standing and walking in other shoes. These are sturdy and comfortable enough to wear all day.

AT 74 YEARS OF AGE I HAVE NEVER OWNED A "TENNIS" SHOE THAT FEELS THIS GOOD. MY FEET SWELL AS THE DAY PROGRESSES AND ALL I HAVE TO DO IS LOOSEN THE STRAPS. SO FAR I'VE BOUGHT 4-PAIR, SIZE 12 4E, AND I LOVE THEM.

Incredibly comfortable walker. I walk a couple of miles a day and these are the most comfortable and easy to put on and take off walking shoe I've ever owned. I'm 78 years young and have tried many brands of shoes. I'm thankful I can finally stop looking for the perfect walking shoe. I've found it in the addiction walker v strap.

I am on my feet for 12 hours a day and needed a good comfortable shoe I tried the addiction walker and now 2 and a half years later I am on my 3rd pair. I also have arthritis in my left ankle and these shoes are great for helping me to work the way that I have to in commercial printing. The thing that I don't like about them is I don't own enough pairs of them. If your looking for a great pair of walking shoes that hold up against a lot of abuse and are still comfortable, these are your answer.

This is my fourth pair of Brooks Addiction Walkiers. I have found the brand and, more specifically this model to be well made and durable.
My biggest complaints would be that these do not come any wider than 4E. This is especially frustrating since I found out the model has been slightly redesigned with a narrower toe (even though it is still 4E width).
I really wish that Brooks would make shoes in 5 or 6E width.
I also think the velcro strap should be slightly longer for people like me with very high insteps (the strap barely reaches half-way after having been stretched).
While not perfect, the Brooks Addiction Walker is far better than other shoes I have tried.

These are the best shoes I have found for everyday wear. They accomodate my orthotics and are extremely comfortable when I have to be on my feet for long periods. (My feet never hurt when I'm wearing these.) I highly recommend them! I wish Brooks would also make a model that is more breathable for warm/hot weather.
